The main function of the competitiveness indicators is to monitor the most representative parameters of the Catalan logistics system by means of indicators, and by analyzing the evolution of the system. The document is based on statistical data from the main sources of statistics and from information gathered from the sector, and aims to give a practical and real vision of what are the main trends in the logistics and transport market in Catalonia.
With the aim of offering a global vision of the Catalan logistics system, this year’s edition presents the following new features: an area related to urban logistics, improvements in existing indicators, development of 4 new indicators, incorporation of 8 statistical annexes, inclusion of a sectoral survey of trends (urban goods distribution) and an advance on data for 2017.
