Institut Cerdà, together with Banc Sabadell, organised an online conference on “Crisis management drills: creating crises to learn from”. The conference served to present the Crisis Management Support Service’s recently published, homonymous fifth monologue, directed by Albert Girbal. The day was attended by Adrià Galián, General Deputy Director. and Director of Centralized Administration and Corporate Services of Banc Sabadell, Carlos Cabrera, General Director of the Institut Cerdà and Albert Girbal, Technical Advisor of Institut Cerdà, and professor at IESE, who presented the monograph see presentation).
The day ended with a round table discussion on the subject of ‘What have we learned from the simulations?’. This involved David Casas, Director of Business Continuity at Banc Sabadell; Óscar Domènech, Director of Business Continuity at CaixaBank; Ángel Pérez, Manager of Organisation and Cybersecurity at Abertis Autopistas and Josep Bertran, Head of Communication and External Relations at Repsol in Tarragona. The discussion was moderated by Jordi Martínez, Director of Communication at Institut Cerdà.
