Collaborative networking to improve crisis management
The Collaborative Networking project aims to design, implement and lead an integrated management system of distribution networks to allow planning, maintenance and coordination in the construction and emergency management of urban basic services to be improved. One of the purposes of this project is to create healthy, mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships, based on trust and complicity, deepening collaboration in the private sector.
Thus, the aim is to contribute to the development of companies’ activities as well as to their excellence in the management of the urban space and in the quality of the supply of the basic services. In this way, the project aims to become a reference in its realm of activity.
The plan is that this networking will be carried out via a geographic platform of electronic consultation. The participating companies will be able to analyse their distribution networks to strategically plan and better manage crisis and emergency scenarios. The implementation of this platform is economically viable and allows results to be obtained in a short period of time.
The project is part of the Crisis Management and Organizational Resilience Service (SeCRO in Spanish), which is part of Institut Cerdà in Chile. The guiding idea is to improve the management of critical situations related to physical infrastructure, mainly in the public, urban areas. The participating companies are Aguas Andinas, Telefónica, Víaschile, Copec, Metrogas, CGE and Transbank.
