The pandemic forced organisations to work remotely, but, as the vaccination campaigns make steady progress, it is a good time to reflect on where the new trends in work will lead to.
Remote working has implied a delegation and assumption of responsibility to people and has not reduced productivity. However, social interaction that is a key to innovation and collaboration in working groups, was lost. Hybrid work is the type of work model that combines aspects of remote work and office work, and this is what many organisations are doing spontaneously or informally.
In this context, Institut Cerdà proposes that the new model should be formalised and guided by the rules proposed in this document.
